Ten years ago today I married my best friend.

There was not a moment's hesitation. No nervousness at the back of the church. He was THE ONE and I couldn't wait to walk down that aisle.

He is the kindest man I have ever met. His smile lights up a room. I am so fiercely proud of him and all that he has worked so hard to become. His sense of humor is legendary. He is an incredible father. And he has a totally sweet ass.

Every day I am so thankful for our friendship, our partnership, our committment to each other. He makes the grungy everyday stuff worth it. He makes our future seem like an amazing adventure.

(see how that works ladies?)

Thank you for 10 amazing years Baby! It seems like just yesterday...

I love you more than I could ever tell you.

Yay! Happy Anniversary! I LOVE the schmoop too as I am drowning in it myself. I hope against all hopes that come June 20, 2019 I'll be able to say much the same about mine :)

I can't even believe that it's been 10 years since that day... wow. Enjoy!

And yes, msk, there must be a windstorm that picked up just now... or was that someone chopping onions??? (That is, while you're emptying the dishwasher...)

Sorry I'm so slow to comment on all your sweet comments! :)

That Mr. G is pretty fabulous. Sorry I made you get, er...dusty eyed.

How fun to have posts from 3 people who were there! (Aside from the Mr., who was obviously there. LOL!) We've come a long way ladies!! I think between us there are 7 new people in the world since that day.

I do remember both Leroy and the amazing Ethel Baby dancing at the wedding. I have awesome pictures of both in fact. I also remember a very pregnant Scarlett getting picked up and spun around in her cute little maternity dress. (Remember going shopping for that dress before you were even showing?!?)

And I remember my cute cousins - who were in middle school and grade school at the time - working the video camera and the disposable cameras on the tables. They are all grown up MEN now. Sniff. Sniff. In fact, Jamie was the same age as Scarlett's oldest is now. WOW!

And I definately remember my dear friends/sister Ang and Amiee singing so beautifully during the ceremony.

Awww. How wonderful to have awesome friends and family, both old and new to share my life with. Thanks y'all.

It IS awfully dusty in here. :)

You know what else I just realized? I made my first forray into the wonderful world of interweb friendships about 4 months after our wedding. I was reading Divine Secrets on our honeymoon, and there was a URL on the back...

So we've all been friends for 10 or more years. Wow. Cool.

Either that, or we're old. Ok, not you TL. I remember when you were in HIGH SCHOOL and I was scared that your mom would get mad that you were hanging around ol' potty mouthed me. Heh.
